Hi buddy, seems you urgently need for what you are asking as you got hacked 4 times. Why don't you just contact google regarding the same as you told you are using gmail, ask google that why you are getting hacked for 4 times ?!!

Anyways, for what you are asking is to track the IP who hacked your email. may be you can try ankit fadia's hacking e-mail book in which he has mentioned some tricks to get track of IP, I dont have much idea about the same.

Also you can contact indiansword, G4EF Member, he is a Security Expert may be he can help you :D

As far as u have described the problem, i can not guarantee the cause of this. But as an elimination of causes, the first thing u may try is to format your hard drive and change all the information of your email account.

If this fixes your problem that means u had a keylogger / trojan.

Because according to human psychology, if a hacker hacks an account and he changes everything in it, then the actual owner recovers the account. In that case, the hacker woud not find it interesting to hack your account back since everything in it is already destroyed back by him in first attempt. But if its a keylogger / trojan, then he will get your account password without putting any efforts, in that case as a time pass he will log back in and change the password.

Was there any additional mail sent by him?
either from his account or from your account.

also in gmail, if you see the bottom section, you will get something like this:
Last account activity: 28 minutes ago at this IP (*.*.*.*). Details

Click Details to see last 5 sessions and the IP's from which they were logged on.

    Does this help you out?
