Hi,
I have Microsoft VISTA home premium OS with Internet explorer 7.0 in my laptop.
I want to Remove IE7.0.But VISTA does not give any such options.
I have tried the following things..
1.Go to Control panel-->Uninstall programs->click <Turn Windows feature ON/OFF> on the Left hand side bar.
But did not find any option to Remove Internet explorer from there.
I remember this option is present in Micosoft XP OS.
Does anyody know any other procedure to remove IE7.0 from VISTA?
Please help me..
Thanks
Biswajit

Yep, same problem here, thought I'd bump the thread to see if anyone knew a solution.

It looks as if IE is an integral part of the OS and I have not seen any way of removing IE from Vista at this point. I have used Vista for a while but it is way to bloated to be used in a business environment (IMO) and have sinced stayed with XP and linux.
Why may I ask would you like to remove IE7. why don't you just install the browser that you want to use and not use IE. |
