gOS 2.0 is a Linux Distro based on Ubuntu using the Enlightenment Window Manager. Nothing really ground-breaking here, but gOS can run from a live CD and has icons pointing to various Web apps like Gmail, YouTube etc. for easy access. It can be said as a stripped down and polished version of Ubuntu. Stripped down - because it’s using a light window manager, and, polished - because of the good integration with the latest web 2.0 services and a light graphical appeal. see the snamshots of it http://www.killertechtips.com/2008/01/12/gos-20-screenshots-and-review/
