What is your call on getting good traffic from Google Image Search and if its possible to get some good traffic and how ?

Depends on the type of images you have but if you are planning to get you have to do 3 things

1. Get Images Names right
2. Get the alt tag rights
3. Get the Images folder names also correct.

yep... These are good tips to get our images searched in Google and to get traffic as well.

I think image traffic converts horribly but those are good tips...main thing is title of image and the alt tags.

ALT TAGS are use when describing images. It helps optimize images.

I agree to your points. Just wished to know something else as well. If we hyperlink the image to direct the traffic to particular pages, will it change anything for those pages or Not. Am just trying to find information, as I am gonna try this on my new website. Just want to know that is the effort worth it?
