    Hi friends. Sorry to bother you with this very, noob-level question, but I am having a hard time determining the answer to it.

    I have to represent the Student Attendance entity which is, as its name suggest, intended to hold information about the attendances of Student. How would I proceed to create a relationship between the Student entity and the Student relationship entity in the database design? Is there a one-to-one relationship between them? Or is there a one-to-many relationship between Attendance and Student? Any help would be welcome.

    Student - Attendance
    ====================
    Student ID [1] - [m] Student ID

    Student : Attendance would be 1-to-many kind of relationship because
    1] Student Table will only contain 1 record per student (for 1 standard/year)
    2] Attendance table would contain multiple records (1 for each day) for each student
