C++ winsock

some one let me see winsock using c++ in action

am using borland c++ 5.2

 

Winsock is vast area and what specific you want to see in action.

 

Interprocess communication through Named pipes
Not completely Windows socket but yet IPC and so should be a good start for you.

 

If you want to see the winsock in action then visit the iit kahargapur's techfest website (khitij) . I remember I participated in an event in 2008 named "mission Mars" there was the clear demo about the Winsock in Borland C++ 5.2... I don't remember the code now but I can give u the code but a little search of hard disk is needed form my end...You can also visit that website and search the archive section...

 

Why don't you share the link of that for all of us. It will be great

 

Yah sure..Instead of link it would be better if i provide u the code itself...I need to search my CDs and harddisk for the code..
