Hi everyone,
I know Google likes websites that have lots of new content on them, but I wanted to know if instead of adding new content/pages to my website, I could just update the existing content. The thing is, I don't want endless pages of contrived content just for the sake of keeping Google happy.
What do you think?

Just make content for your user and Google will eventually get happier.

I would advise to update if and when you have something new to say. There is no need to update just for the sake of it. Adding content that is not of genuine benefit to your visitors it pointless and will only dilute (and perhaps confuse) the message you are trying to deliver.

I would recommend to upgrade if and when you have something new to say. There is no need to upgrade just for the advantage of it. Including material that is not of authentic advantage to your guests it's useless and will only diminish (and perhaps confused) about the concept you are trying to provide . . . . . . . . . . .
