Cheat in text based rpg games

Have come over a game. rapid-city it´s called, its a text based rpg game. I was wondering if its possible to hack for example the casino in the game, to wil all the time? Or just cheat to get money... Anybody knows?

Get a decompiler or a disassembler depending on the code the game was written in and then see what you can do with that or go play in the resource files and see what you find there, I made all the weapons of counterstrike $1 just by editing the resource files, and I could also make each weapon stronger and gave it unlimited bullets... Just a thought.
