    Hello All,

I have not sure this should come under Linux or ethical hacking as this question is related backtrack 5r3. If its wrong place ..sorry for that

I am using backtrack 5r3 via Oracle Virtual Machine. Iwconfig wlan0 does not give info. Though Ping is working fine and I am able to use google thru wlan. When I checked in Network manager at backtrack..it shows my wireless connection to wired network. Apart from that command like airmon-ng is also not working.
    Code:
         Iwconfig wlan0
    L0 no such device
    eth 0 no such device

I myself found the answer. This kind of probs are frequently seen with with Virtual Maschine users. So in this case one has to boot Backtrack via CD or USB.
