i see ur also a vbulletin user... i have also got the same.. my question is

i have installed VB CMPS (portal)... so i can show the recent threads.... but it just shows the name of the topic.... i wanna show a lil bit of info about the post and then a button like [read more...] as u have.... so expect a reply from u buddy

In vbAdvance there are 2 options one is about recent thread module and one is about News module and with recent thread I am not sure it gives the option of showing the content but you can edit it but with news module it does.

VB CMPS news module will give you title / description as well what you are looking for.
