Don't know about that, but I think Priya mean PINION when she said it's 6-lettered.
If Priya made a typo (6 instead of 8), then my answer will be correct !

The best answer to this question is "pinioned"...error in question..it is 8 letters indeed.
And as luck would have it (or rather the definite outcome), when i make an error in the question, thats when there is most participation (embarassing me even further).
