offtopic: Why there are only 6 subsribers till now. I guess not everyone knows about RSS here.

Less subscribers are there because normally people are subscribed to the whole forum and not to any particular forum at times

from whichever page I go for RSS I get the same feed url
http://feedproxy.google.com/g4ef/ So I believe we can subscribe to the forum as a whole and not by individual sub-forums. |

ok.
when I choose RSS feed from the browser itself, I get 2 feeds but when I click on the RSS icon on top pf page, I always get the same http://feedproxy.google.com/g4ef/ I got the count 6 from google reader for http://feedproxy.google.com/g4ef/ But, 26 when I subscribed by pasting http://www.go4expert.com/ to the subscription box in google reader for the feed http://www.go4expert.com/external.php?type=RSS2 |

The top link is always for the whole forum and probably you are seeing those numbers are something else may be and not the number of readers or it may be the reader at any particular instant.
Also the Other subscriptions to forums can be found on the parent page of that forum For C-C++ Forum visit the programming forum page and you would see the small RSS icon beside the name of the forum |

The number that we see in Google reader is the actual count of subscribers to that particular RSS Feed.
The one I mentioned was for the whole site's feed But as you pointed that all the forums have separate RSS Feeds (that was infront of my eyes but I did not notice it  ) the total count may be much higher than what I mentioned.
