A car crashed where there was a man and a boy. The father is killed in the crash and the boy is taken to the hospital in a seriously injured condition. When he gets there, the surgeon says, 'I can't operate on this boy - as he is my son!!!' How can this possibly be?

The man in the car was not the father of that boy. The question said only "man and a boy" and not "father and son"  "The father is killed in the crash and the boy is taken..." and not "The father is killed in the crash and the son is taken..." |
