    We are looking for an application that will create a skype like VOIP experience. With the emphasis being on the superb sound/video quality offered by SKYPE.

    You need to provide a p2p client that will log into a server, retrieve user buddy list and allow skype like functionality.

    skype is partner with a pro telephone service. Its hard to get the same sound quality.
