I am programming a Statement of Account which shows Date, Document Ref, Transaction Description, Debit, Credit and Running Balance columns. The problem I am having is this: after the opening balance is shown in the Balance column, the next entry displays the running balance correctly but the subsequent entries display incorrect running balances. Here is a sample: Date. Ref. Trans.Description Debit Credit Balance 01-9-10 Opening Balance 500.00 05-9-10 A/01 Purchases 200.00 .00 700.00 10-9-10 R/09 Payment recvd 400.00 1000.00 Please let me know how to program this in MS-ACCESS.
