Dear shabbir,

Can we have some kind of icon or some tick mark or something .. to distinguish sent messages that have been read by the targeted user from those, that have not been read ??

We have a Confirmation Reciept

But ...

(1) One has to remember to check "Request read receipt" before sending the message.
(2) If one forgets to check that box, then there is no way in which he can know if the message was read. (If the targeted user doesn't reply, of course)
(3) There seems to be a way to bypass this :

Thats intentional because at times in email also you cannot get the idea and so this is also the same way.
