I just wanted to send a message to all members here, especially to the newbies. So, I am going to make this thread sticky so that this one stays on the top.
First of all greetzzzz to everyone at G4EF. I joined this place a couple of months back, and I like it so much that I can't end my day before going through ALL the new posts
One of the best things I like here is, we have good people to talk with. I made many good friends here.Well, what I wanted to tell (or request) you all is that, I would like to see some more participation from you in all events here. With about 4,500 active members we get maximum 15~20 voters per poll : the voting for the article of the month is no exception. The $1 daily contest forum is checked by only a few known members, I haven't seen a newbie winning it, ever since I joined G4EF. Even the threads in the chit-chat forum are lying dead !
I understand time is important, for you and also for me. But, whenever you are logged in here, try to contribute to it. A forum is for sharing not for extracting. Don't just post your question, get answer to it and then flee away. That's not the way. If you know something better in any field, try to contribute to the respective forums, express your opinion (because "your votes count" !), interact with others here. Try to keep threads alive, try to make this place even more pleasant and lively and try to participate in everything and don't ever hesitate. (I don't encourage spamming threads, though

are not for beautifying the forum. I don't see many members using them. When you see a post that violates the forum rules, please report () immediately. I will award reputation points to anyone who reports (not a false one) a bad post.Similarly, if your query has been answered by an expert or you like an article by someone or someone genuinely helped you with your problem, please add to their reputation(
) so as to encourage them and appreciate the time and effort they spent for helping you.I expect a huge participation from you all, especially the newbies ... at least after reading this. Let's make this forum better ...
