An app that we can use to access G4E forums, post messages, read private messages, take polls. Just something that mobilizes the G4E experience. This will help a lot of members become more active because this will allow them to participate on the go. Same thing goes for Android. It's a good project that'll help G4E grow. Let me know what you think.

I'm going to agree with this, as the Australian Government were so kind to have given us laptops (Lenovo Thinkpad Mini 10) they never thought that even a forum would be slow to run...

I was going to create a post about this, but since this topic was already started i'll just add it here. I was going to see if this forum could support Tapatalk. It's an app for Android and Iphones. I always use tapatalk when not home. Would love to add this site to my favorites on tapatalk!!!!

That would be awesome! No need to reinvent the wheel. Only thing is that this app is like $1.99. I 'm not sure what you had in mind Shabbir in terms of making a free app or charging for it. I would definitely buy it if it works for G4E but then that'll only limit the app to people who are willing to pay for it =D so it won't be as widely used. At least that's how I see it.

Yes Tapatalk costs money to purchase the app itself, but the forums can be set up to support tapatalk for free. If your looking for an alternate to tapatalk for free, XDA-Developers is a good free app. They also have a premium version for a few dollars as well. These are the top forum apps. I have used both and both are really good.

Yes Tapatalk costs money but the issue is there premium app does not come with upgrades and they will develop the app only for sites like G4Ef and so I am also looking for vB mobile suite as well. Again Mobile suite is for vB4+ and I have no plans to move to vB4 as of now.

How far do you think we are from seeing the app Shabbir?
