Hy, i was looking for a vbulletin since a long time. Finally, luckily my payment was released from a client on completion of a project and i bought a vbulletin which is a permenent license


So thats the reason I am so happy today.

1 small confusion here:-
Eventhough i bought a permenent license, on members.vbulletin[dot]com, it will show only till some month-2010. Is that because i get forum support for a year? And will my vbulletin[dot]ORG account will last forever or what?

You bought the vB at the wrong time because there is an update of licensing when we have vB4 coming up in July.

The licensing is such ( as of now ) that you can get upgrade for one full year but can use it for the rest of your life time.

i didnt quite understand that? Wouldnt i be eligible for free upgrade?

Yes you are for one year but with VB4 there is expected some changes in the licensing policy and unofficially you would not be allowed to upgrade to VB4 but its still not confirmed.

I asked my credit card company to refund me the money and they did. So i will purchase it later

A credit card company cannot ( and should not ) refund you the money which you purchase genuinely.

I dont know y. But after u said they will release update, then i asked for refund and i got the money refunded. i got an email from their payment processor saying that i will get the money back, even my vbulletin.com/org account isnt valid anymore.
