Next set :
(1) Why does the sun lighten our hair, but darken our skin ?
(2) Why is "abbreviated" such a long word ?
(3) Why is it that rain drops but snow falls?
(4) Why do you need a driver's license to buy liquor when you can't drink and drive?

PLEASE JUSTIFY YOUR ANSWERS.

(I found this floating everywhere on the net, but unanswered. So I want your answers )

Sunlight increases the melanin in our skin but its not there in hair

Who said its a long word. Its shorter than longest word known. Your question is wrong. You can also use abb which is used in dictionary at times.

LOL .. hair is black ONLY because of melanin !! The correct answer is :

Quote:
The sun bleaches and destroys the melanin in your hair giving you lighter hair. Since hair is dead, the hair will stay that color until new hair comes in.

When sun shines on your skin, it destroys the melanin as well. But since your skin is alive, it can respond to the sun's damage. Your skin cells make more melanin and your skin becomes darker. That's the simple answer, now let's get into the details.

OK. I hereby justify this.
Now, please justify No, WITH a proper explanation ( don't justify No, in the way I justified this )
