Go4Expert - View Single Post - Difference between Stored procedures and User Defined functions[UDF]

I did not get the following statment ....

UDF can be used in the SQL statements anywhere in the WHERE/HAVING/SELECT section where as Stored procedures cannot be.

Could any one please more focus on it
